BARRY S. GOOLD received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkley in 1974 (Phi Beta Kappa), and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California School of Law at Berkley (Boalt Hall) in 1977. While attending Boalt Hall, he clerked for Melvin Belli of the law firm of Belli, Ash & Choulos, and also clerked for consumer-law specialist Robert A Goldstein. He is admitted to practice in California (1977) and Nevada (1978). From February 1978 through July 1982, he was an associate attorney with Lionel Sawyer & Collins, where his practice was concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate purchases and sales, real estate financing transactions, leases and landlord-tenant practice, sales and purchases of businesses, negotiation and performance of construction contracts, and other real and personal property matters. He continued and broadened his commercial practice as a Director in the firm of Smith, Goold & Kotchka prior to forming this firm. Mr. Goold has a personal rating of "av" from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been listed, under the category of real estate lawyers, in every consecutive edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
